VEGETABLES
Winter greens should all be planted by now. You can still sow quicker growing greens like spinach and bok choi.
Cabbage seeds sown now will be for your spring crops.
Water celery frequently and thoroughly to prevent it bolting to seed.
FRUIT
Strawberry runners can be planted as soon as they have developed roots. They like well manured soil and plenty of mulch. Water well as they are getting established.
Remove the lower third of the leaves on tomato bushes, and keep pinching out the laterals that grow between the main stem and the branches. Slowly reduce the watering on the plants as the tomatoes ripen.
