In the greenhouse or under some glass, you can sow a few seeds of early cabbages, cauliflowers and brussels sprouts.

Brown onions can be sown into trays inside to be planted out later.

Jerusalem artichokes and asparagus can be planted out now.

Inside your house you may like to start your tomatoes in trays, this will allow you to have a very large plant ready to plant out after the frosts.

Place your cloches, cold frames or tiny plastic tunnels in your garden now and leave them for 3 weeks to warm the soil before planting into them.

FRUIT

Keep the soil around your trees and bushes weed free by adding a thick layer of mulch.
