This is the last week of spring. Peas can still be sown, and leeks and celery planted out. Remember to keep newly planted things watered until they become established.

VEGETABLES
Brussels sprouts planted now will give you an early crop. I personally think they are a bit gross haha.
Late season potatoes really should go in this week at the latest.
Main crop carrots and beetroot can be sown now. Carrots take forever to germinate, so you can cover them in some sackcloth or an old towel for 2 weeks, this helps keep the moisture even, stops the tiny seeds being rained/watered away and keeps weed growth down. Water the soil well the day before sowing either carrots or beetroot, or sow just after some rain.
You can still put in pumpkins, marrows, zucchini, and cucumbers. Late November is the last chance to put in corn, runner or butter beans.
FRUIT
Outdoor tomatoes should be growing well, remember to stake, water and remove their lateral growths to encourage a strong crop.
