How not to cut down trees

So apparently if you are cutting down your own trees near power lines (or anything of value for that matter) you should 1) let the power company know you are planning on doing it and 2) get insurance!

On the upside we got to meet all the lovely neighbours the following day with fresh homemade raspberry jam, cream and pikelets (thanks mummy). They were all very lovely and understanding which was lucky. The $4500 bill wasn’t so lovely however.
